Megan + Matt are a perfect match and we had such a fun afternoon in Palos Verdes taking their engagement photos! They got engaged on a hill on the coast and that is where we began their shoot. Megan is super creative and crafty and made the cutest wedding date banner for the shoot with colorful streamers. We then headed down to a nearby beach which actually reminded me of my favorite place in the world- Big Sur. We are so lucky to live in California and have locations like this in our backyards!
They are getting married later this year in the desert and I can’t wait to see her vision for the day come to life! With such a gorgeous, in love couple, the day is sure to be amazing. Thank you Megan and Matt for having me along on such an incredible time in your lives!

This is such an exciting day because Jessica + Peter’s wedding is featured on Style Me Pretty! It is one of the best wedding blogs out there and I am so honored and grateful to have my work featured on their beautiful site. You can see the feature here.
Jessica and Peter’s wedding day was perfect! I am a huge fan of intimate, personal weddings and their day was just that. They were married at the famous Cliff’s Edge restaurant on Sunset Blvd. Its a beautiful tucked away building with an amazing atmosphere and you definitely do not feel like you are on one of the busiest roads in Los Angeles. We decided to contrast their ceremony and reception location by doing their portraits at the beautiful Griffith Park. They were up for anything and I feel so lucky to have clients like them that trust my ideas and were willing to go on a mini hike before their wedding. I think it paid off!
Holly Flora did an amazing job with the flowers and I was awestruck at Jessica’s gorgeous bouquet! Cindy of Mad Love Events was awesome to work with and kept the day running smoothly. A huge thank you to my husband Ryan who photographed the wedding along side of me. I wish Jessica + Peter a lifetime of happiness and love, congrats you two!!!

When I was a kid, I remember setting up photo shoots in my room in front of a white bed sheet and using my reading lamp for light. I made my friends and family be the models and one of those models was my cousin Rachel. She was always hanging with the “big kids” and kept us constantly entertained. She is in college now and I was lucky enough to spend a few days of spring break hanging out with her. We ventured to Palm Springs for a night and I knew I wanted to do a shoot with her. After doing her makeup (just like old times!) we drove around and found the perfect location. She is a natural in front of the camera and we had so much fun playing as the sun went down over the mountains. Thank you Rachel for such a fun few days, love!!!

I had such an amazing day documenting the love story of Katie + Kyle. They met at a Pebble Beach high school which is also where we began our afternoon(seems fitting, right!?). They took me all over Pebble Beach and Carmel and our stops included the restaurant where they had their first date 11 years ago! While Kyle and I were waiting for Katie to change outfits at the restaurant, he told me how excited he is to be marrying his best friend. It was so sweet! They are are perfect match and each place we stopped had a special meaning to them so I truly got a history lesson of their relationship and love which was so much fun! Their wedding is this fall in Carmel and just wait until you see their venue, AMAZING!!! Katie + Kyle, thank you for such a fun day, I am so honored and excited to photograph your wedding this September!
